JOYCE ARMSTRONG CARROLL is a director of the New Jersey Writing Project in Spring, Texas. She has taught almost all grades in her 33-year career. She was Professor of English and writing at McMurry University and received the Outstanding Educators in America award.

EDWARD E. WILSON is a director of the New Jersey Writing Project in Spring, Texas. He has taught at elementary and secondary school and junior college levels.
