Thomas Haapapuro is an accomplished woodworker, sculptor and designer. He has written two articles for Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts and has art in several galleries throughout the southeast United States. Thomas Haapapuro graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and has worked professionally for ten years designing rooftop gardens, urban courtyards and site-specific art pieces. In addition to his professional design training and experience, he has been a woodworker for the past 8 years. He has previously written two articles for Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts Magazine, which outlines some of the unique techniques used to create his original scroll sawn boxes and demonstrate his ability to provide clear, concise explanation of the processes of creating woodworking projects. Thomas is also represented by several galleries throughout the southeast, which has provided him with professional feedback and influence in his designs and marketing. An avid designer, the projects selected for this book will be from a volume of hundreds of designs he has developed over the past 8 years.
