Arnold Robbins, a professional programmer, is the coauthor of O'Reilly's sed & awk, Second Edition, and Learning the vi Editor, Sixth Edition, and author of the vi Editor Pocket Reference. He has been working with Unix systems since 1980. He currently maintains gawk (GNU awk) and its documentation.
