Nelson, MDiv, PhD, is director of Rural Ethics Initiatives and an associate professor of community and family medicine at Dartmouth Medical School and the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. He also is an adjunct associate professor of public administration at New York University's Robert Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
