Thomas More was an English lawyer, social philosopher, author, statesman and noted Renaissance humanist.

Stephen Duncombe teaches the history and politics of media and culture at the Gallatin School of New York University. He is the author of Dream: Re-imagining Progressive Politics in an Age of Fantasy, and co-editor of White Riot: Punk Rock and the Politics of Race. He lives in New York City.
