Michelle Roehm McCann hhas worked as a children’s book editor and art director for nearly thirty years, and has written and compiled nine award-winning children’s books of her own.  She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband, two amazing kids, and three brilliant cats.

 

Marianne Monson received her MFA in Creative Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and primarily writes on topics related to women's history. She has taught English and Creative Writing at the community college and university levels, and is the author of eleven books for children and adults. She is the founder of The Writer's Guild, a literary nonprofit, and writes from a 100-year-old house in Astoria, Oregon. www.mariannemonson.com

David Hohn is an illustrator based in Portland, Oregon, with numerous children’s books to his name. His days are spent in the studio imagining what it would be like to be someone else, doing something else—and then he paints it.
