Susan Pisoni, whose art comes from the heart and hopes it makes people smile, resides in Missouri with husband, near her family, drawing much of her inspiration from her grandchildren. She is a self-taught artist who started her artistic journey as a child and was encouraged by her mother. Even at an early age she recognized she had a God given talent and worked to develop her drawing skills throughout school, being singled out consistently as talented. In her late twenties stepped into an art shop to learn to paint and before a year was out was teaching at that same shop. She is well known in the Decorative Painting Society for her whimsical style though her work runs the gamut and has over 19 published instructional books to her credit. Her designs have also been licensed to companies and are represented by the licensing agency of Linda McDonald, Inc. Her art is found throughout her painted house , which has been featured in a special interest magazine from Better Homes & Gardens , as well as in several newspapers. This in turned has lead to mural painting in homes and business from St. Louis to Sanibel, Florida.
