Elizabeth Kirby, Ed.D. is an assistant professor in the education leadership department at Central Michigan University. She is a former middle school teacher who has published articles on teen victimisation and school legal issues in Legal Memorandum and other law and education journals. She lives in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

Jill McDonald, M.Ed, is an administrator in the Huron Valley school district who has worked as a middle and high school teacher, administrator, and at-risk program co-ordinator. She lives in Detroit, Michigan.
