Robin Lee Hatcher has had a Iong term love affair w ith books, particularly those set ill times past. She began writing for her own pleasure while a young student, but it wasn't until 1981 that she decided to write her first novel.

Now the bestselling author of twenty-four novels ind two novellas, with more than four million copies in print, Robin Lee Hatcher has won numerous awards, including the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award for Americana Romance. She served as president of Romance Writers Of America from 1992 to 1994 and was RWA's first National Literacy Chairperson from 1994 to 1996.
