Gary Morsch, M.D., M.P.H. is the founder and president of Heart To Heart International, an internationally recognised relief and development organisation that provides medical support, education and disaster assistance worldwide through an extensive network of volunteers.

Dean Nelson, Ph.D., is the founder and director of the journalism program at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. He currently writes for the New York Times and previously wrote for the Boston Globe and other national magazines for 20 years.
