Jock Stein works in retirement as a publisher and locum minister in Cockenzie, Scotland. He was at one time the director of Carberry Tower Conference Centre, and was ordained by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, where he was involved with publishing and lay training. Howard Taylor was Chaplain at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh until 2008. There he created an award-winning course on The Philosophy of Science and Religion. He has also taught in colleges in Glasgow and Shanghai, and earlier in life served as a missionary in Malawi, where he was ordained.
