Alan I. Rosenblatt, MD, FAAP, is a neurodevelopmental pediatrician and teaches general pediatrics at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. He has combined patient care, advocacy, and teaching throughout his career in a variety of clinical settings in the United States and abroad and has received awards for clinical excellence and for his advocacy efforts. He has held professional leadership positions at the local, state, and national levels, including on the Autism Expert Panel of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He lives in Chicago. Paul S. Carbone, MD, FAAP, is a general pediatrician with an interest and experience in the area of autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. He is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and a coordinator for the autism program of the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program. He is a current member of the Council on Children with Disabilities Autism Subcommittee of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
