Now, as One Church in Three Locations, this vibrant ministry has grown to serving the specific needs of three locations of worship in urban areas of New Jersey: The Cathedral International Second Baptist Church in Perth Amboy, The Cathedral Assembly by the Shore in Asbury Park, and the Cathedral Assembly in the Fields in Plainfield, New Jersey. As a result of Dr. Hilliard's unwavering faith, multifaceted mindset, and ability to trust in the Lord, over fifty ministries are at work within the three cities, with many of the members traveling from throughout the tri-state region of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. The Cathedral is recognized as a growing and relevant church and has been cited by American Baptist Churches USA as a model for church growth.
