Synopsis

The growing trend of acrylic painting is combined with the ever-popular subject of flowers in this, bright and colourful guidebook for beginning painters. "Fast & Fun Flowers in Acrylics" gives readers all they need to create great-looking paintings right away, with: more than 50 step-by-steps, featuring subjects ranging from garden flowers to wildflowers, each of which can be completed in 8 steps or less; a simplified approach to technique, with only three types of brushes used to paint every type of flower; and an accessible, visually appealing design that focuses on illustrations and keeps text to a minimum. A bonus section on embellishments such as butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies and dewdrops, plus 6 complete paintings created from the flowers shown in the book.
