Born in Detroit, raised in the auto industry, Wallace Wyss is a natural to be a Shelby historian. After a chance meeting with the Cobra Caravan in the Sixties, he went on to write the best selling Shelby's Wildlife: the Cobras and the Mustangs and ten other books. He has also worked on the staff of Motor Trend and contributed to car magazines worldwide. His occupations have included photographer, test driver, exotic car hunter, fine artist and, most recently, becoming a student of thoroughbred horse breeding.
