Bill has written 55 books in the transportation field, from automotive to aviation, in addition to thousands of articles to his credit. His non-bookwriting work is impressive too, with an Aerospace Engineering degree from Purdue University working on Boeing and NASA projects, as well as the US Army. Now retired, he continues to be Director of the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame, an organization he formed honoring dirt stock car drivers.

John has been a writer/photographer for over 20 years and has seen his work grace well over 100 titles worldwide in publications like Hot Rod, Rod & Custom, Stock Car Racing, Circle Track, Drag Racer, Street Trucks, Old Skool Rodz and programs at various national speedways such as Daytona, Atlanta and Charlotte.

For 40 years, Rod Hall has desert raced 4x4 off-road trucks. He's won the famous Baja 1000 in his class 19 times. He's truly 'Mr. 4x4', and he'll tell you that's all he will race.
