Ron Eggers and Stan Sholik are coauthors of "Macro & Close-up Photography Handbook" and "Photographer's Filter Handbook." Ron Eggers is a senior editor with NewsWatch Feature Service and a contributing editor for "PhotoElectronic Imaging" and "Professional Photographer." He writes the "Digital Perspective" column for "Petersen's Perspective." He lives in Costa Mesa, California. Stan Sholik is a commercial photographer who has written for "Petersen's Photographic" and "Professional Photographer," "PhotoElectronic Imaging," "Photolab Management," and "View Camera." He is a former president of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Association of Media Photographers. He lives in Santa Ana, California.
