Judy Strefling Smith is a homemaker and newspaper columnist. Her weekly column, 'Homemakers,' published in the Harbor Country News, features recipes and information about food and its preparation for cooks who are just learning to cook and those who are quite accomplished. Her recipes focus on regional dishes, use of in-season fruits and vegetables, special holiday preparations, and international cuisines.
