So far as the committee knows or can ascertain this record herewith published is correct and complete. It was based on information supplied by the Records Division of the Adjutant General's department in Harrisburg, Penna. in conjunctions with the Adjutant General's office of the War Department, Washington, D. C. This is an almost irreplaceable compilation of interest to genealogical researchers, military historians, and state and local historians, as well as social historian interested in tracing issues and activities from the pre-war period into the post-war period up to the time of the Second World War.
