Scattered throughout the book are inspiring photographs of Fitzpatrick's many award-winning rugs, her stories of traditions that inspire her work, and insider's tips for shortcuts and techniques. À propos de l'auteur

Deanne Fitzpatrick (Nova Scotia, Canada) is well known worldwide for her hooked rugs and patterns. Her work is in permanent exhibits at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Museum of Civilization, among others. She has also made frequent radio and television appearances. Deanne is also the author of Hook Me a Story: The History and Method of Rug Hooking in Atlantic Canada (Nimbus, 1999), which has sold more than 10,000 copies within Canada.
