He now contributes to various golf publications, teaches at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, and tries to keep his handicap in the single digits. His yearly jaunts to the Emerald Isle to hit the links led him to write Golfing in Ireland: The Most Complete Guide for Adventurous Golfers, also published by Pelican.
