CHAPTER 1

Leafhopper Throw

Split cluster stitches resemble the partially open wings of a leafhopper and give eyecatching textural detail to this pretty throw.

2 lfhop sts plus 2 dc = 3 inches; 1 lfhop row plus 1 dc row = 1 inch

Attach Fringe to both side edges of Afghan. Fold strands in half, insert crochet hook from back to front in end of row, draw fold through to WS. Insert tail(s) of row(s) through fold of Fringe strands to include tail(s) in Fringe. Draw end of strands to tighten Fringe. Trim Fringe even. Block Afghan lightly. ?
