Synopsis
Describes the syntax and use of the BOM procedure and the SAS/OR bill-of-material post-processing macros, which facilitate the creation and exploration of various types of bills of material from part master and product structure files. Single-level, summarized, and indented bills of material are all supported, as are reports that detail the use of a specified part in final products, subassemblies, and components. For the reader, some previous experience with bills of material is helpful but not essential.
