Story Behind the Book

Writing one’s prayers in a journal (unlike verbal or silent prayers) provides an actual safe place to grow spiritually and to enjoy and enhance a personal relationship with God. Verbal prayers are soon forgotten, but our "love letters to God" become a permanent place for exploring our hearts, a tangible testimony of God’s love and faithfulness in our lives, and a detailed document of our spiritual journeys. Lynn D. Morrissey

Lynn D. Morrissey is a popular author, communicator, and soloist. After seventeen years of marriage, she and her husband, Michael, had their daughter Sheridan. Lynn left her twentyyear executive career to raise Sheridan and work as a part-time director of Christian education. She now facilitates Bible studies at her home church in St. Louis, Missouri.

Katia Andreeva

Katia Andreeva discovered her love for art as a child in the Far East of Russia. After intensive schooling in her youth, she attended the Academy of Decorative Arts in St. Petersburg, where she studied fashion design. Relocating to Minnesota with her husband in 1994, Katia's watercolor play of bold colors and light has been warmly embraced.
