David L. Harrison has written many acclaimed poetry collections, including Somebody Catch My Homework. Mr. Harrison has received a Christopher Award and four IRA-CBC Children's Choice Awards. He lives in Springfield, Missouri.

Rob Shepperson lives in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. His droll pen-and-ink drawings appear regularly in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post. He is also the illustrator of The Big House by Carolyn Coman.
