Synopsis

Suguru Misato, a junior high school student who has been living by himself since his father died, plans to hire a maid to deal with the mounting housework that needs to be done...and to provide a little companionship in his time of sorrow. He has friends at school, some of which even harbor secret crushes on the little orphan. But, life seems a bit empty since his father's mysterious death. On the bus ride home from school one day, he eyes a cute girl in a maid uniform, and fantasizes about how nice it would be if she would be his maid. No sooner does his daydream begin than his bus being hijacked interrupts it. However, this femme de domestic servitude leaps into action, thwarts the hijackers and, along with Suguru's help, pilots the bus to safety. And, before his daydream can resume, it becomes reality as Suguru comes home to find the exact same girl singing in his garden. She introduces herself as Mahoro, sent from Vesper to be his new maid.
