Synopsis

For a number of years the poet worked and lived on board ships of the Greek merchant marine as a sailor, an experience from which he is also inspired, from the life on board, sea ports and the nature of the sea itself, an element which also enriched his poetry with its changing moods and reality as part of the life at sea.
