Alan T. Davies is Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto, in the Department of Religious Studies, and an ordained minister of the United Church of Canada. He was first awakened to the issues of Jewish and Christian relations during postgraduate studies at Union Theological Seminary, New York, New York, focusing particularly on Protestant attitudes toward Judaism and their effects on events both historic and within modern culture. He has authored several books on the subject, including 'Anti-Semitism and the Christian Mind', 'Infected Christianity: A Study of Modern Racism', and 'How Silent Were the Churches?: Canadian Protestantism and the Jewish Plight During the Nazi Era'.
