“Ace” Rich Franklin is a three-time UFC Middle Weight champion and one of the top mixed martial artists in the world. He has a record of 21 wins (including 2 title defenses) with 1 loss and is widely regarded as one of the sport’s most well-rounded fighters. He’s featured frequently in UFC events aired on Spike TV and Pay-Per-View, and he was one of two coaches on the second season of Spike TV’s weekly reality show, The Ultimate Fighter—the network’s most watched program ever. Well-spoken, humble, and with all-American good looks, Rich is one of the top ambassadors of the sport. Making use of his master’s degree in education (he used to teach high school math), he appears frequently on news programs, including The O’Reilly Factor, educating the public on the history and rules of mixed martial arts. His American Fighter clothing line is carried by Wal-Mart and frequently sported by Kevin James’ character in King of Queens.
