À propos de l?auteur

Rabbi Norman Lamm is a distinguished rabbi, philosopher, teacher and author who currently is Chancellor of Yeshiva University and Rosh HaYeshiva of its rabbinical school, the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. He was born in Brooklyn, attended Yeshiva College, and pursued advanced scientific studies at the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. He was ordained as a rabbi and earned a PhD in Jewish philosophy from Yeshiva University. Rabbi Lamm served on the faculty of Yeshiva University for seventeen years, and as its President from 1976 to 2003. He was also a synagogue rabbi for 25 years. Rabbi Lamm has gained wide recognition for his writings and discourses on the interpretation of Jewish philosophy. He is the author of ten books, the editor of more than twenty volumes, and the founder of Tradition, the Torah Umadda Journal, and the Orthodox Forum.
