Synopsis

Deception and blackmail plague Leo Bronski, an old Vietnam vet, who is temporary postmaster in the Alaska seacoast town of Fire Bay. His Anchorage boss transferred him to Fire Bay from the small western Alaska village of Howes Bluff. He soon found he not only missed his wife, but also the security the small village offered from his alcoholic past. "Trust no one," the boss said, There is the murder of the previous supervisor, and Bronski soon learns that the post office is being used to transport drugs.
