Michele Ama Wehali is a psychotherapist, shamanic practitioner, and ceremonialist who has been practicing traditional and non-traditional methods of support and healing for seventeen years. As a psychotherapist, Michele developed and ran a social services program for the Tewa Pueblos in Northern New Mexico. During this time, she interacted with numerous Native American tribes. She has also participated in extensive ceremonial work for the past twenty years, in a variety of cultures and traditions. Most of her indigenous teachers carry knowledge from Native American, Mayan, and Peruvian cosmology. She has lived in the Sacred Four Corners Region of the Southwest for twenty-one years.
