Problems—they're everywhere! It seems like you run into them at every turn, like life is made up of nothing but problems! What do you do when problems build up and you are beset by them on every side? Is it time to give up? Hide? Run away from problems for the rest of your life? Here Jay Adams addresses the problems we all face and assures us that there's no need to run—we can learn to master our problems instead. In fact, children of God should fear problems the least, because we are equipped to handle them the best. We have the example of God, who solved the problem of reconciling sinners to him, and in him are the solutions to all of our problems. The Resources for Biblical Living booklet series addresses a wide range of practical life issues in a straightforward, down-to-earth, and most of all, biblical manner.

Paperback. Etat : new. Paperback. Problems usually mean trouble. Yes. That's the way it is, and has been, ever since Adam and Eve wrongly handled a question someone raised about God's Word and his intentions. That was the world's first problem--how should we believe and act upon this new thought that has been introduced into our minds? Should we obey our Creator? Or should we . . .? You know the rest . . . As the result of their answer, we now have problems with ourselves, with other people, with God, with ideas, with things--life was not intended to be so full of problems, but now it is, so how do we deal with them? It is a concise treatment of how a believer is to understand and solve problems using the Scriptures in dependence upon the Holy Spirit.
