As an Acting Coach and Teacher Ms. Shurin developed her own Acting Technique (Transformational Acting) which she teaches at her New York City Studio and her satellite Studio in Woodstock, N.Y. Ms. Shurin's book "Transformational Acting..A step beyond" explains her innovative Acting Technique. In her second book "Star Power" she guides the Actor to discover their Authentic Selves, define an Individual Signature ...and realize the "IT" factor...Star Power.

As director Ms Shurin has brought "The Price of Genius" to Broadway and directed at such venues as BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music), Playwrights Horizons, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center Festival to name but a few . She has coached, and directed such award winning names as Anthony Rapp, Bill Sanderson, Daphne-Rubin-Vega, Sylvia Miles, Mathew Modine, Shalome Harlow and the Rap music legend Method Man. Sande has directed two films that made their way thru the Film Festival Circuit garnering TV distribution.

Sande has been seen as acting coach to the models on America's Next Top Model. Cuts of Ms. Shurin at work have been seen on Oprah. For television she directed and co wrote with her husband Bruce Levy the 12 series cable show "Working Actors". Ms.Shurin has lectured at such venues as CUNY, Marymount College and Adelphi University. She has led her Acting and Break-thru workshops internationally.
