Artist Heidi Boyd creates innovative craft projects for children using a philosophy toward surprise and accessibility. She's contributed proprietary projects to the kids' section of Better Homes and Gaardens, Crayola Kids and FamilyFun magazines. Her work is featured in many Meredith Corporation's craft publications including Crafts for Little Kids, Incredibly Awesome Crafts for Kids, Simply Handmade, Halloween Fun and 501 Fun-to-Make Family Crafts. With a degree in fine arts, she has been an art instructor to children in schools and art centres for over a decade while pursuing her vocation as an illustration artist. She lives in Des Moines, Iowa, with her husband Jon, and sons Jasper and Elliot.
