Synopsis
The Musician’s Hit Song Notebook is designed to facilitate writing songs – potential hit songs! By providing the building blocks for songwriting – the verse, chorus, and bridge – along with sheet music paper for filling in notes and areas for including lyrics, the Notebook is a vehicle for jumping right in and getting to work. Like a journal or diary, the Notebook also becomes a recorded journey of a songwriter’s efforts.
With an introduction by Bon Jovi’s hit songwriter Richie Sambora, who will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in June 2009, and inspirational quotations by various musicians throughout the book, songwriters should find plenty to help them “channel the muse.”

Matthew Teacher runs Sine Studios in Philadelphia, PA, where musicians from all over the world come to record. His first edition of the Musicians Notebook sold over 220,000 copies. He is a graduate of Berklee School of Music.
