Step up to the plate! Batter up! Baseball metaphors that give clear instructions to the players, words that guide players in the right direction. Step up to the Plate, Intercessory Prayer: A Study Guide does just that. It gives clear instructions telling us to "step up to the plate" and become intercessory prayer warriors. Written in a style that is easily understood and using God's Word as the backdrop against which all the information is based, this study will give you just the boost you need to take your prayer life to the next level. Sprinkled throughout the work are thought-provoking questions to help you search your heart. That, combined with the "Closing Moments" at the end of each section, brings this study together in a personal way for each reader. Sandi Underwood has served in local churches since she accepted Christ in 1978. Sandi has been a Sunday schoolteacher for over Twenty-Five years has also taught in a Christian School. She completed Bible studies through Liberty Bible Institute and has used that foundation over the last fourteen years to teach through 47 books of the Bible to her Woman's Sunday School Class. Sandi has also taught Adult Bible studies and is involved in leading the Grief Share program in her home church, Woodlawn Baptist Church in Crestview, Fl. Drawing from her experience as a heathen of 36 years and a Christian of 29 years she uses practical illustrations and applications that speak to Christians in all stages of their Christian walk, encouraging them in the effectiveness and power of intercessory prayer.
