She helped two states (New Mexico and Illinois) write their early learning standards and develop state-wide trainings for implementation of those standards. Gronlund is well-known among educators, administrators, and policy makers across the country for her keynote presentations, staff development sessions, and her many books. She holds a master's degree in adult learning and early childhood education from Pacific Oaks College.
