Maria Manuela Cunha received her Dipl. Eng., M.Sci. and Dr. Sci from the University of Minho. The Engineering diploma is in the field of Systems and Informatics Engineering, the M.Sci in the field of Information Society and Dr.Sci is in the field of Virtual Enterprises. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Scholl of Management of Polytechnic Institute of C�vado and Ave, Portugal, where she is president of the scientific board, director of the department of Information Systems, and teaches subjects related with Information Systems and Information Technology on undergraduate and post-graduate studies. Her scientific interests are electronic businesses and agile/virtual enterprises. She has published a number of articles and presented a number of papers in her research areas, especially on Virtual Enterprises.
