Alison M. Reynolds is Professor Emeritus of Music Education, and former chair of the Department of Music Education and Therapy, Presser Center for Research and Creativity in Music, in the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University, USA.

Cynthia Crump Taggart is professor and chair of music education at Michigan State University, where she also directs the Early Childhood Music Program.
