Barbara Taylor studied Environmental Sciences at Southampton University before becoming a science editor and writer at London's Natural History Museum. Laszlo Veres is the main illustrator of Silver Dolphin’s 3-D Explorer series for children. He is the illustrator of A Mariner’s Tale, The Story of Sail, and Sailing Rigs. His illustrated books have been published all over the world, including the in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Ukraine, Croatia, and Hungary. He lives in the city of Pécs, Hungary, with his family.
