She has worked with Vibe magazine; Disney; Tommy Hilfiger; Hasbro; and many other fashion and cultural icons. She also volunteers as a mentor with young girls, helping them build self-esteem and confidence.

Born and raised in Southern California, Koa Jones grew up with art in her heart and an affinity for drawing and painting. As a young girl she struggled with shyness and finding her voice, but when Kidada asked her to be a part of this incredible book, Koa jumped at the chance. Koa lives with her two children, Renzo and Linnea in Woodland Hills, CA
