Author and counselor Bajeerao Patil has been writing for 10 years. He writes about behavior and the attitude of individuals addicted to illicit drugs and offers motivational stories. His book “Insanity Beyond Understanding” was originally published in 2009. He also has another book about addiction Lifelong Sobriety - How to Stop Drinking And / Or Using Drugs Bajeerao Patil has been a drug and alcohol counselor for over 25 years. He understands this issue from both author’s and counselor’s point of view. He knows how addict’s mind works and what prevents them from maintaining sobriety. He has Masters degree from India. His love for writing and fascination with addictive behavior and the recovery process led him to become a counselor. He is a member of several online groups such as WRAP and Recovery, SCBWI, United States Mental Health Professionals, authors’ groups and has done several book signings for Borders and local bookstores who stock his book. He guest blogs and has been on a couple of radio shows to talk about his work.
