Alesia penned Everything s Okay in 2008 and founded The Alesia Shute Foundation in 2009 to work with families in need and raise money for the Children s Hospital of Philadelphia, where her life was saved numerous times. Alesia is the proud recipient of the Good Neighbour Award for her work on fundraising for a local playground, and she and her husband are active donors Pediatric Aids Now a wife & mother, Aesia uses her family business to hold carnivals and auctions to help families with sick children to pay the bills. Alesia was the president of the Timmy s Regatta Foundation for 10 years, and she and her husband still donate to Ronald McDonald House in Camden, NJ, as well as to local charities that encourage neighbourhood children to participate in sports. Alesia now spends her time sharing her story with families in need of hope during their most difficult times. She lives in Sweetwater, NJ.

When Alesia Shute was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 7, her life was redirected, as was that of her entire family. She would go on to survive six major surgeries that had never been tested on a child, several minor surgeries, countless hours of pain and months of hospitalization. Alesia had to grow up quickly and adjust to being sickly and different from others. Everything s Okay: A Round Table Comic TM is an illustrated account of her survival that details not only the challenges of her recovery, but her desire to give back and make a difference in the lives of families suffering from any and all childhood illnesses.
