Terry Howell is the Director of Strategic Alliance and Outreach programs for Military.com. Terry is a retired Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer. He last served as a career development advisor, where he provided career, finance, education, benefits and transition counselling to service members and their families. While at Military.com, Terry has worked with the Department of Defense to write the content for TurboTAP, the DoD's online transition assistance program. In addition, Terry was the lead on a team of subject matter experts who developed the military skills matching tool for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs VAForVets website. Terry has used a combination of traditional and non-traditional education resources, military tuition assistance and the GI Bill to complete his B.S. and MBA.
