Synopsis

The dragons were defeated two hundred years ago.

Troyf has lived in peace ever since. Until now.

When Prince Schram returns home from a journey with Kirven—his closest friend and a powerful canok mage—he finds his city changed beyond recognition. Goblins patrol the streets. Black canoks enforce their will. The royal castle is in ruins… and the king and queen have vanished without a trace.

As Schram fights to survive and escape, he’s pulled into a widening conflict that reaches far beyond his kingdom. Something is stirring across Troyf: ancient magic, corrupted beasts, hidden enemies, and a threat that feels disturbingly familiar.

With a hardened warrior’s instincts, a fierce young woman driven by vengeance, and allies from the forgotten races of the world, Schram is forced to confront a terrifying truth:

The Dragon Oppression may not be over.

It may only be beginning again.

The Return of the Dragons launches the Hidden Magic epic fantasy series—filled with ancient races, dangerous magic, goblin armies, and the slow unearthing of secrets powerful enough to reshape the world.
