She is the cofounder of the Life Guidance Center, teaches and speaks on the subject of grief, and serves on the board of the National Association of Social Workers. Bernie Siegel, MD, is a retired pediatric surgeon and internationally recognized expert in the field of cancer treatment and complementary, holistic medicine. He is known for his bestselling book Love, Medicine & Miracles.
