Synopsis

FOR MEN AND WOMEN CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH HELL ON EARTH. Has a hurricane-sized disaster ripped through your life? Do you ever feel stale in your soul and lack adventure in life? Have circumstances sucker-punched you and fear bogged you down? Not anymore! LEARN TO LIVE TO THE HILT A GOD-SIZED ADVENTURE IN YOUR STORM. Disaster: Betting the Farm on God in Life's Storms will build your trust in God. The book is personal, profound, real, raw, and often surprising. You'll encounter the realities of disappointment, doubt, and heartache even as you are led into God's sovereignty, compassion, goodness, and vital optimism. You'll discover the God who cannot be put in a box...who often does His best work in disasters. Disaster: Betting the Farm on God in Life's Storms is written against the backdrop of the greatest natural and environmental disaster in United States history. In the midst of catastrophe, beauty comes out of ashes...lives are utterly transformed...miracles happen. This is the inspirational story of people who were broken and crushed yet survived the worst storm that could be thrown at them, and emerged as tools in the hands of a God who is full of kingdom surprises and purposes. A revolution took place, and the ripple effect has led to life-changing compassion all over the country and the world. Beware, this book is rated NSFCP - Not Safe for Comfortable People. Have suburban comfort, success, and the American Dream castrated risk-taking, cross-carrying, and Jesus abandonment from your heart? May it be no longer.
