The volume then proceeds to the diagnosis of hypersexual or compulsive sexual behavior in both ICD-11 and DSM-5 and describes best practices for making a comprehensive evaluation, including conducting the clinical interview and the use of relevant assessment tools. This is followed by a review of the different pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches available to treating clinicians.
