À propos de l?auteur

Pearl B. Werfel, PhD, is a clinical psychologist in private practice, who specializes in wellness and chronic illness and pain. She has been inducted into the National MS Society Hall of Fame for Healthcare Professionals and is a member of the Clinical Advisory Committee of the Northern California Chapter of the Society. Dr. Werfel teaches courses at CSPP/Alliant on how to work with clients with chronic illness and she developed an online program for pain and stress management for those living with MS. Ron E. Franco Duran, PhD, is presently Associate Professor and Associate Provost for Research and Scholarship at Alliant International University. His research interests are in how to identity influences on health behaviors, the effectiveness of group-based interventions for persons living with chronic illness, and how health care organizations adopt and evaluate evidence-informed behavioral interventions. He has served on the NMSS Hispanic/Latino Advisory Board and the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion. Linda J. Trettin, PhD, is a clinical neuropsychologist with Mercy General Hospital Dignity Health and the MS Achievement Center. She received certification as a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist with the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. She also leads National MS Society - sponsored behavioral health programs. Dr. Trettin's research interests focus on the neuropsychiatric and cognitive difficulties faced by individuals living with chronic medical and psychiatric conditions.
